heh heh! Mirthful midafternoon. The Great Gatsby floats to mind, probably because of the illustrations.. Alfred E. Taylor's the name. Most of the funnies sailed way over my head though, I'm just not attuned to the ways of jazz age high society. (Edit: realised the correlation drawn is entirely my own imagination, since book is quite, quite British (heh) and well.. not American and I admit knowing very little about the ways of both. Say dilettante.. and do pardon my Italian.)

Adore the secondhand bookshop!! Each time I go I take care not to look too closely, so there'll be something else to catch my eye the next time I'm back. Wheeeeeee
