wind down, little star
every day a day less but closer and further at once. Dr Gillian McKeith informs me i am what i eat, and i agree i am not where i live. i am what i think, not what i happen to do. Really? how do you explain the deliciousness of being on your own with everyone held preciously in your thoughts? how do you justify selfish?nevermind. this will do.

i'm writing a paper on old people. sounds quite boring, right? my own fault, since i thought it up. i'm also not too sure why i was so thrilled when i decided on it, especially when i have this fuzzy recollection of scribbling away furiously in my notebook. oh well. it's getting better as i go along, the law is in a mess. perfect!

heh heh! Mirthful midafternoon. The Great Gatsby floats to mind, probably because of the illustrations.. Alfred E. Taylor's the name. Most of the funnies sailed way over my head though, I'm just not attuned to the ways of jazz age high society. (Edit: realised the correlation drawn is entirely my own imagination, since book is quite, quite British (heh) and well.. not American and I admit knowing very little about the ways of both. Say dilettante.. and do pardon my Italian.)
Adore the secondhand bookshop!! Each time I go I take care not to look too closely, so there'll be something else to catch my eye the next time I'm back. Wheeeeeee
